Poems, songs from the heart, have ways of sharing deep feelings that can be hard to express in any other way. This collection is made up of 80+ poems of various types with subject matters that range from dealing with fears and deep anxieties to considering God and His ways. All these poems have been previously published in the devotional series “Morsels from the Father’s Table” volumes 1 through 5. In those books, these poems, along with some prose, are matched with Biblical scripture and a challenge for the readers. In this anthology, the poetry is presented solely to express their voice, their message, their cries, and songs of the heart.

This is the first devotional/ mini-Bible study booklet developed for the series "Morsels from the Father's Table". This is the first time original Christian poems and prose were not only paired with relevant Biblical scripture but also with a challenge to each reader to apply the lesson to their lives. This series is for the believer who is looking for a deeper relationship with God, and for the seeker who wants more information to begin their relationship with God.

There are times in our lives when fears, worries, and anxieties are overwhelming and need to be wrestled with and conquered.

Writings generated by the author, as she experienced these dark times, has been compiled and presented in this volume. She prays that it will help others by giving a Godly perspective on how to learn to fight these destructive mindsets.

This installment of the ‘Morsels from the Father’s Table’ series is a deep dive into the heart and soul of being a believer. It is not for the weak of faith or faint of believing heart. It is for those who want to be challenged by where they stand in their faith or by seekers who want something else besides the sugary sweet, ultra faith or prosperity messages.

Welcome to Volume 6 in the Morsels from the Father’s Table series. For those who have read the other volumes, this one is different in format and content. Inspired by finding an old idea for a child’s Christian ABC book, an adult version was developed in using combinations of same first letter words and passages out of the scriptures as the Holy Spirit prompted. The majority of the lessons developed were originally published on my Facebook page, P. Clauss. All those and a few extras have been compiled into this book hoping it will aid others in their own life’s journey. The ones that were previously published are presented here in the original form. Because of these weekly installments, the introductions to each of them may seem redundant. It is my earnest prayer that whoever reads this book learns and enjoys these lessons as much as I did while I researched and wrote each one!

Volume 7, the Holiday Edition, subtitled Contemplations of Holidays and Days of Celebrations, is one of the themed booklets of the collection that considers the special days in our lives in relation to our walk with God.

These writings were penned over the years as holidays or special events brought to mind thoughts and meditations of those particular days. Not every holiday or special day is represented in this collection as there are multitudes of these days, especially if one considers the entirety of celebrated days in all the nations of the world! The ones included in this collection are well recognized and most are celebrated worldwide.

These writings may surprise many readers. The tone of many of the entries could be considered gritty and piercing rather than the fluff and stuff normally attributed to these days of celebration.

I hope and pray that as the reader views each entry, they are prompted to ponder what these days truly represent.
